Yellow challenge and a baby card

Whew- the last 2 weeks have been crazy with handbell concerts.  It was fun but I’m ready to get back into my normal routine.

This first card is a challenge one from Less Is More.  The color challenge was yellow and, of course, there is  a lot of white space.

I cut the front out of white and mounted it to the yellow card using dimensional adhesive to give the card more depth.

This next card is another from the card base set that I used last time .  The scalloped circle was just right for the circle baby phrase.  The pardstock is from a 6×6 pad from MY Minds Eye called Lime Twist.  The colors and patterns are really fun and could be used for a lot of different cards.

That’s it for now.  After looking at Mel’s blog dealing with washi tape I am ready to start on making my own .  Maybe I’ll have a sample or 2 next time.

ThaNKS! It was a good stretch to make this card, but I’m now thinking it would work well in every color- hello card set!
